There will be no outside assembly, or  Palm Sunday Procession today. The Blessed Palms will be put into a container on the breezeway of the Church, and you may come by and pick one up on your way to a destination that is authorized (Grocery Store; Pharmacy; etc.) for now. Father Steve resides near several of these authorized destinations, and he will have Palms available in front of his house.

Holy Week Schedule: We will continue with the Holy Week Schedule, but with the necessary modifications, all services will be Livestreamed. See Below for Schedule.

Church Closed for Public Worship. Because of the public health concerns pertaining to the Coronavirus (COVID-19); Bishop Sutton has ordered there is not to be any Public Worship in the Churches of the Diocese of Maryland until May 16, 2020.

Holy Communion Restriction: All clergy in the Diocese of Maryland are forbidden at this time to Administer Holy Communion. The Sacrament may not be administered whether in the context of a Holy Eucharist Service, or individually with a small group or individuals from the Reserved Sacrament. The ONLY exception would be in the context of Extreme Unction to the Active Dying (Last Rites). The Clergy may continue to do as I am doing in my Livestreaming by doing a Mass of Intention where I represent the Congregation in consuming the Sacrament that I just Consecrated. Only the Celebrating Bishop/Priest is permitted to consume the Sacrament during this COVID-19 crisis.

*No more than 10 People in the Church: During the Livestreaming of the Eucharist, or Morning Prayer, no more than 10 people are permitted inside the Churches of the Diocese of Maryland during the COVID-19 restrictions. This 10 includes the clergy and worship assistants of the service. This restriction follows the Governor of Maryland Order, which includes limiting the number of people at Spiritual, and Religious gatherings.

Morning Prayer – Monday through Friday at 9:00 a.m. Father Steve Livestreams Morning Prayer, Monday through Friday at 9:00 a.m.

Other Activities May Continue During the Church Closing: Bishop Sutton will allow small groups to meet on the Diocese of Maryland Church property during the COVID-19 restrictions. This includes the Thursday Evening A.A.   The Groups are advised to use “Social Distancing”, keeping 6 feet distance between each other. No hugging or hand shakes. Use hand sanitizer, and wash hands.
