14 Mar Livestreaming During COVID-19 Shutdown
Updates on Livestreaming from St. Andrew’s during COVID-19 shutdown.
Just a reminder, at St. Andrew’s, we Livestream all our services on the St. Andrew’s Facebook Page.
Here are some updates from Father Steve:
1.) Saturday, March 14th @ 6:00 p.m. Holy Eucharist (Mass at the Altar Only – No Liturgy of the Word.) This will be a Spiritual Mass where I will do the Prayer of Consecration, and Spiritually represent the Livestreaming viewers. The St. Augustine Prayer of Intention for those who cannot be present and receive the Holy Sacrament will be used after the Consecration (I do this at every Livestreamed service.)
2.) Sunday, March 15th, beginning of the COVID-19 Shutdown.: At 9:00 a.m. on Sunday March 15th; I will Livestream the Daily Office of Morning Prayer on the St. Andrew’s Facebook page. After the Morning Prayer I will do the Mass at the Altar, and do the Prayer of Consecration and Spiritual Mass of Intention for those who cannot be present to receive the Holy Sacrament. I will be the only person inside the Church Livestreaming Morning Prayer & the Holy Communion.
3.) Friday, March 20th at 11:00 a.m. I will be Livestreaming on the St. Andrew’s Facebook Page my Friday Lenten Program “Friday Fish Eaters”. This program will be Livestreamed from the Chapel of Holy Cross Faith Memorial Episcopal Church, Pawley’s Island, South Carolina. My oldest son Rhett will be with me for tech support.
4.) Sunday, March 22 at 9:00 a.m. I will be Livestreaming on the St. Andrew’s Facebook Page Morning Prayer from Pawley’s Island, South Carolina. Location of the broadcast is yet to be determined.
