Adult Education/Sign Language Classes for July/August: 7/15; 7/22; 7/29; 8/5; 8/12; 8/26  (No Sign Language Class on 8/19, See Below.)

Sunday August 19th. Special Guest Speakers at Adult Education: On Sunday August 19th, at 10:30 am., Father Steve has invited two guest speakers from the Hagerstown Church of the Nazarene, to speak at the Adult Education class. These two speakers will tell us about their recent mission trip to Honduras. Kerry and her daughter, Lauren, are friends of Steve and Melanie.

Monthly Motorcycle Mass: Next Motorcycle Mass will be Saturday, August 4th., 6:00 p.m. The location for this Mass will be in the backyard of Kathi Rose’s residence, Hagerstown, Maryland. More details forthcoming, including directions to Kathi’s residence. There will be a group ride preceding the Motorcycle Mass in August. Food & Fellowship at Kathi’s residence will follow the Mass.

Three Month Sabbatical – 2019: Father Steve will be on a three month Sabbatical, beginning early May 2019. During the Sabbatical, there will only be one Sunday service, and no Wednesday Evening Services. There will be various supply clergy scheduled to handle the weekly Sunday services, and pastoral care during Father Steve’s absence. 

Direct Depotit/Credit Card Giving/Tithing: Remember that you can easily sign up for Direct Deposit, and/or use Credit Cards to give/tithe to St. Andrew’s. You may also designate your monetary gift directly to the handicap building fund.

Special Prayers for Emma Noel Jones: Because of complications, the mother of Emma Noel Jones, was put into premature labor with her daughter, who was born at 26 weeks, 10 weeks short of the normal procedure for a child to be born. The birth occurred on Wednesday, July 18th. Parents of Emma are Kayla Kinsey, and Aaron Jones, the grandson of Dicky & Kathy Repp. The induced labor was at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore. Kathy contacted Father Steve prior to the procedure, requesting prayers. Several hours later, Kathy sent Father Steve a message saying; Emma,”Came out kicking and screaming.”  Please lift up Emma, and family in prayer. 

Men’s Praise Group from Faith Christian Fellowship: Our good friends, and excellent singing group from Faith Christian Fellowship, Williamsport, Maryland, will be returning to sing in September.
